GIFAwards is seeking subject matter experts to evaluate proposals for the International Young Scientists Awards in the Field of Oil and Gas: A Glance Into the Future
The competition aims to identify and promote cutting-edge technology and innovation for the oil and gas industry; support and encourage research by young scientists, and enhance international science and technology collaboration.
Research areas / nomination categories include: Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production; Gas Storage and Transportation; Oil and Gas Processing; Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG); Electric Power, and IT Solutions for Oil and Gas Industry.
All eligible proposals will be subjected to a technical review process. Award decisions will be made by the GIFAwards Jury based on the results of the peer review, and reviewers’ recommendations.
Reviewing the proposal would involve reading a 10-page project narrative, participant CV, and additional application materials, and providing written evaluation based on the criteria described in the RFP.
Timeline: June-July 2018. Each reviewer will be given 3-4 weeks to evaluate one proposal. Reviewers may select to review one or more proposals.
- PhD level (or equivalent) or above;
- Research and/or practitioner experience in the competition research areas;
- Proficiency in English;
